Using up your product, part 2

This week’s assignment, use your paper scraps. Here are a few fun ways to use up small pieces of paper. Pleating strips of paper uses up more paper than using just a flat strip. It also adds some nice texture and dimension to your projects.

A patchwork pattern can fill up the entire space, and adds a great visual element as well.  Add some stitching to divide up the blocks if you’d like.

Crazy quilting isn’t just for fabric, use the same concept in your papercrafting, just start cutting and gluing. Don’t worry about overlapping, it just adds to the character. I added some trim for extra texture.

Making your paper go 3D allows you to use just a bit more. This fun spring card was quick and easy, any punch could be used.
