When in Doubt, Scenic Route

by

Scenic Route released three fabulous new product lines this summer and they’ll be available in the store this Saturday.

The first line is called Surprise:

Surprise has wonderful bright colors, festive party prints (candles and birthday hats), whimsical prints (stars and patterned circles) and clean graphic prints (including circles, numbers, stripes, an “xoxo” pattern, and polka dots). It’s perfect for birthday-themed layouts and cards but equally good for Valentine’s layouts and cards or playtime layouts like this one (which also showcases a fabulous new American Crafts foam Thickers alphabet sticker set called “Subway” – it comes in four colors: white, black, red, and light blue):

The second new line is Appleton:

This fun school-themed line, like all of Scenic Route’s themed lines, includes enough basic and graphic prints so that it can be used for school layouts and cards as well as non-school-themed projects. Here’s a school-themed layout I did using pieces from the scrap strip paper (and more of those American Crafts Subway Thickers):

The third line is called Sonoma:

It’s got beautiful prints in various shades of pink, red, green, yellow, cream, and gray. Here I used a phrase from one of the scrap strip papers and circles punched from three of the papers to create a clean, graphic card:

Don’t forget that this Saturday is Scrapbook Destination’s garage sale! There will be lots of deals you won’t want to miss! This weekend is a good time to stop in since the new Basic Grey has also just arrived and QuickKutz Shapes are 40% off!
