October Afternoon’s new Night Light line

by

Ooops, I was supposed to post yesterday, and I totally spaced it. So I’m sneaking in this morning 🙂

I’m going to tell you about the fun new line from October Afternoon called “Night Light.” With names like Louie (the green monster), Charles ( the blue monster), Ellie (the orange monster–who apparently doesn’t think monsters should scare children), Henry (the light green monster), and Jack and Katie (the kids that need the night light), how could you not fall in love with these fun papers? Louie has all the monsters with pencil line drawings of a child’s room on side A and a funky 1980s green and white pattern on B. Katie has a beautiful diamond teal pattern on A and text from The Wind in the Willows on it’s B side. Jack has red background with circles and stars as it’s A side, and a fun school writing sheet on it’s B side. Charles has what’s turning into my favorite part of October Afternoon design, a multi sized stripe on A and a navy blue with geometric circles on B. Ellie is orange on both sides with different patterns, and Henry has a fun strip like pattern with tons of possibilities on A and a lime green with very subtle circles for the B side. Very fun.

And they have coordinating chipboard shapes, die cuts, journaling cards, alphabets, rubber charms, rubons, stamps, and cardstock stickers. So many cute things to coordinate. You can download the OA catalog from their website.

But the thing I like best about this line is it’s not TOO themed. I used it on a layout about me, and I am not a little monster 🙂  The colors are just happy: red, orange, yellow, teal, lime green, sea green, black, and cream. I am not sure when they’ll be showing up in the store, but I think it will be in a couple of months. So get your monster pictures ready 🙂
