Happy New Year, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, I sure did. Now I have lots of fun holiday photos to scrap, so many it’s hard to know where to start. Sketches are a great way to get your groove back. Here’s one to get you started…
This sketch can be really versatile. I decided to tweak the strips on the left just a bit and do the bottom like snow to match this fun Heidi Grace wintery paper. Since the paper already had pattern strips it was easy to cut apart and layer onto the cardstock. Getting the angles right was a little tricky, but worth it in the end.
This page is also a reminder to myself to scrap the less than perfect photos, sometimes they tell a completely different story.
